MAIN AREAS OF INTEREST/FOCUS FOR PARTNERSHIP

• Networking/partnering with local and international organizations interested or engaged in addressing issues related to persons with visual and other impairments.
• Conducting studies with an aim to inform policy and program interventions, designed to address the situation of the visually impaired and contribute to the prevention of blindness.
• Coordination and facilitation of projects, managed in collaboration with member organizations and other partners, aimed at improving the conditions of the visually impaired and other PWDs in a wide range of areas including HIV/AIDS and RH, orientation and mobility, access to ICT skills and use, independent living skills, psycho-social rehabilitation, inclusive education programs and income generation ventures.
• Mobilizing financial, material and human resource for enhancing the capacity and sustainability prospects of member organizations.
• Promoting the practice of disability inclusion/mainstreaming in development agenda in conjunction with all interest and pressure groups.
